My biggest success
so far as a songwriter has been the tune "Pit Bull," recorded by Coco Robicheaux
on his Spiritland CD, with Coco himself contributing some of the lyrics. It
has received significant local airplay on WWOZ radio, and is something of a cult
favorite in Europe. Other writers with whom I've collaborated have included the
Austin--based singer/songwriter Bruce Newman, and the New Orleans guitarist Chris
Polacheck. I contributed to the repertoires of such 1980s New Orleans rock bands as
Channel Zero and 30 by 90, and more recently, some of my material has been performed by
the Sarah Kramer Band, and by the late R&B singer Ernest Johnson.
The band Pagan Radio
is my main vehicle for original songs these days, which also features the singing,
songwriting and guitar of Paul Hayes, a native of Ireland who now resides in New Orleans.

intend to post more audio clips of my songs on the this page as soon as I can.
