(January 15, 1999) The program honors Louisiana students in grades 4 -
12 who have excelled in academics or public service, overcome adversity
in their lives, or been an inspiration to others through their actions

The
Motorola School Spirit Awards (December
1, 1998) are for Preschool through high school grades in US schools. This
contest supports innovative safety and efficiency programs in our schools.

The
Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (May
1999) for students in 9th through 12th grades. The grand prize awards

are also available. The two top winners will go to Stockholm, Sweeden

is an annual monthlong competition
for individuals, families and teacher-supervised school teams in a World
Wide Web treasure hunt. School Team contestants can win $1000 ($3000 will
be awarded to the school); Individual and Family Team division can win

Corporation is sponsoring the Science
Talent Search for high school seniors. Scholarships awarded total
$330,000. Finalists will go to Washington, D.C. to interview with scientisis
