Message from the Superintendent, Mr. Virgil Allen ......

...One of our nation's most important goals is the development of a high quality educational enterprise that will prepare all youngsters for life in a fast-changing and complex world. We are pleased, as educators, to have the opportunity to serve and work with the children of Tangipahoa Parish. This website contains information regarding the Tangipahoa Parish School System. The information is up-to-date, however, it is subject to change due to the adoption of School Board policies and/or legislative acts.

If you have special concerns regarding the education of your child, please do not hesitate to contact your local school or my office. As always, your interest, support, concern, cooperation and suggestions for improvement are appreciated. I assure you that we will continue to strive to provide an environment that is conducive for learning for Tangipahoa Parish students.
