The following pages were created
for the benefit of beginner players to show them how a typical paintball
day works. These pictures show the format of a field where you pay
one price and stay for a few hours then the field closes. The exact
format may vary from field to field. This particular format may not
even exist for fields that are open all day and players are free to come
and go.

This is when the players sign in to the field (may include waiver), receive rental equipment, and pay initial fees (additional paint can usually be purchased later). |
Sometime before the players are allowed to play, all markers are chronographed to set the speed at which they are firing. Usually around 280 feet per second at an outdoor field. |
|
Before players begin to play paintball some sort of briefing is given referring to the rules of paintball and the individual field's rules. |
After receiving instructions for the game that they are about to play the players begin their first game. Click HERE to learn about the different types of games played. |
|
Numerous breaks are taken during the day between games to allow plays a chance to rest, get more ammunition, or to explain a new set of rules. |
Play continues for a few more hours, with much more time spent playing, resting, and sharing stories. |
CHECK OUT
At the end of the day players return all rented
equipment and pay any outstanding fees. Then
they are free to head home and relive their
war stories with their friends
