Alston Subframe Connectors

 

I decided to buy the Alston brand subframe connectors. I have heard many people say that exaust clearance is not a problem. Since my exhaust was pretty much custom I was a little worried. Brought them to a good shop to be welded on and they fit perfect. I have a couple pics below but it's hard to see just how well they fit.

Here is the driverside subframe.

Front mounting point of the same subframe. You can see that they were bolted in then welded. You really have to be careful welding as you could start a fire from the carpet inside. They guys at the shop only welded an 1" or so and then sprayed water on it to cool off and kept repeating this process.

This is the passenger side connector. It looks tight in this picture but I can assure you there is more than enough clearance.
