Prayer to St. Joseph over 1900 years old.
O St. Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your Heavenly power I may offer my thanksgiving and Homage to the most Loving of Fathers. O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen.
Spiritual Communion
The value of a spiritual Communion well made is enormous. We can and
should make one frequently. Simply think on Jesus and how much He loves us and how much we
love Him, then ask Our Blessed Mother to ask Her Divine son to come into our hearts. We
can offer these Communions for the interest of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary,
noting out special intention!
"Oh Jesus I turn toward the holy tabernacle where You live hidden for love of me. I
love you, O my God. I cannot receive you in Holy communion. come nevertheless and visit me
with Your grace. come spiritually into my heart. Purify it. sanctify it. render it like
unto Your own. Amen.
It was the Cure of Ars who said, "A spiritual communion acts on the soul as
blowing does on a cinder - covered fire which was about to go out. Whenever you feel your
love of God growing cold, quickly make a spiritual communion."
Daily Prayer to Guardian Angel
Angel of God, My Guardian Dear, To Whom His love commits me here.
Ever this day, Be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen
Prayer Before a Crucifix
Look down upon me good and gentle Jesus, while before Thy face I humbly kneel and with burning soul pray and beseech Thee to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity, true contrition for my sins and a firm purpose of amendment, while I contemplate with great love and tender pity Thy Five wounds, pondering over them within me and calling to mind the words which David Thy prophet said of Thee my Jesus, "They have pierced My Hands and My Feet, they have numbered all My bones." (Ps. 21, 17-18)
Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O good Jesus, hear me. Within Thy wounds hide me. Suffer me not to be separated from Thee. From the malignant enemy, defend me. In the hour of my death, call me. And bid me come to Thee. That with Thy saints I may praise Thee. Forever and ever. Amen.
My Daily Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of t his day in union with the Holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, reparation for sin, the union of all Christians, I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops and of all Apostles of Prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.
Prayer of the Holy Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ
or
Chaplet of Mercy
May Be Said on the Rosary Beads
On the large beads: Eternal Father, I offer Thee the WOUNDS of
OUR LORD Jesus Christ - To heal the wounds of our souls. On the small
beads: My Jesus, pardon and mercy - Through the merits of Thy HOLY
WOUNDS.
Prayer to Defeat the Work of Satan
O divine Eternal Father, in union with your divine Son and the Holy
spirit, and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg You to destroy the Power of your
greatest enemy - the evil spirits.
cast them into the deepest recesses of hell and chain them there forever! Take possession
of your Kingdom which You have created and which is rightfully yours.
Heavenly Father, give us the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart
of Mary.
I repeat this prayer out of pure love for You with every bear of my heart and with every
breath I take. Amen.
Prayer for Souls in Purgatory
There are more souls released from purgatory during the consecration
of the Mass than at any time. Christmas is the day of the year when most souls are
delivered; then feast days of Our Lord, Our Lady and great saints. Souls receive much
grace from prayers offered for them on their biethday, day of baptism, anniversary of
dath. The more we work for Poor Souls on earth the more others will prayer for us, the
more merciful will Christ be with us when we're in purgatory.
Our Lady asked that we pray very much for the poor souls; that we pray:
5 I believe in god...; 1 Hail Holy Queen...; 1 Our Father...; 1 Hail Mary...; 1 Golry Be
to the Father...; 1 Requiem (Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light
shine upon them and may they rest in peace. Amen.)
Prayer of St. Gertrude the Great
A Prayer which would release 1,000 souls from Purgatory each time it
is said.
Our Lord told St. gertrude the GREAT that the following prayer would release 1,000 souls
from Purgatory each time it is said.
The prayer was extended to include living sinners as well:
"Eternal Father, I offer thee the most precious blood of they Divine Son, Jesus, in
union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in
Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own
home and within my family. Amen."
Our Lady said that if we pray the prayers, "we'll deliver so many souls, so many
souls!"
"The Holy wounds are the treasure of treasures for the souls in Purgatory."
BIBLE - 2 Machabees, Chapter 12, Verse 46:
"it is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be
loosed from sins."
The Prayer or Blessing Against Storms
Jesus Christ a King of Glory has come in Peace.+ God became man,+ and the Word was made flesh.+ Christ was born of a Virgin.+ Christ suffered,+ Christ was crucified.+ Christ died.+ Christ rose from the dead.+ Christ ascended into Heaven.+ Christ conquers.+ Christ reigns.+ Christ orders.+ May Christ protect us from all storms and lightning.+ Christ went through their midst in Peace,+ and the word was made flesh.+ Christ is with us with Mary.+ Flee you enemy spirits because the Lion of the generation of Juda, the Root of David, has won.+ Holy God!+ Holy Powerful God!+ Holy Immortal God!+ Have mercy on us. Amen!
Prayer to St. Michael
St. Michael the archangel, defend us in the day of battle; Be our
safequard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we
humbly pray, and do Thou, O prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into
Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin
of souls. Amen
(This powerful prayer of exorcism was composed by Pope Leo XIII; in a vision, he had
been shown the fearful battle to be waged between Satan and St. Michael, over the Church
of the future. Now, as never before, the Church needs the intercession of St.
Michael! Please say this prayer every day.)
Prayer of St. Frances
Lord, Make me an instrument of Your Peace.

grant by the gift of the same spirit we may be always truly wise,
